AlfrocherTasting Notes:
Alfrocheiro emerged in Portugal and Dão after phylloxera, where it found its natural territory. But we do not know foreign parentage or national origin, although it was already known by the designation “French Tinta de Viseu”. A very rare and high-altitude variety, it teaches us to produce less and respect its fragility, to obtain firm but very delicate and structuring tannins.Store and serve advice:
Store in a dark and cool place (12 to 14ºC), in a horizontal position and without vibration. Drink at a temperature of 16ºC. We recommend decanting it into a pitcher before drinking. It can be stored for 12 years.Food Pairing:
This wine goes well with red meat, roast beef and grilled meats.Allergens:
Contains sulfites.
