Winemaking:
The grapes were harvested manually, in small boxes of 25 kg, according to a careful selection of the best grapes from the vineyard. The grapes were completely destemmed into small stainless steel tanks. Fermentation lasted about 15 days with controlled temperature and gentle pumping over for good color and aroma extraction. After malolactic fermentation, it aged for 12 months in French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels and then blended to balance the varietal fruit and oak complexity.
