Winemaking:
Rich clay-limestone soils with good plant exchange capacity. Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influence, great thermal variation, total exposure of the vineyards to the south. The vineyard is planted on a slope with excellent drainage, contributing to the balance of the vines and consequent small productions. The grapes are concentrated and have acidity potential that gives rise to fresh wines with longevity.
Grape Varieties:
Alfrocheiro, Aragonez, Touriga NacionalTasting Notes:
Dark ruby color, with hints of red fruits and floral notes. An intense wine that shows balance, fine tannins and a persistent finish.Store and serve advice:
Best served between 17ºC-18ºC.Food Pairing:
Perfectly accompanies hot dishes, whether they are traditional cuisine (game and roast meat) or stews (seasoned, white or red). It challenges new pairings, including with fish, with the choice of garnish being a prominent element for pairing: rich dishes with land/sea confrontation. Another little trick is to use some red wine preparation in the dish.Allergens:
Contains sulfites.
