Winemaking:
Grapes from old vines (70%) were vinified in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature and pumping over; the grapes from the new vines (Touriga Nacional and Sousão) were trodden in lagares. The masses were pressed in a vertical press (Titan). After malolactic fermentation, the wines spent 17 months in French oak barrels.
