Winemaking:
Vinification at controlled temperature between 25ºC-28ºC followed by prolonged maceration for about 30 days. Stage 18 months in oak barrels and another 12 months in bottle.
Grape Varieties:
Alicante Bouschet, Syrah, Touriga Nacional
Tasting Notes:
Intense garnet color. Fine and complex aroma where ripe fruit stands out with a touch of jam combined with vanilla and light spices from the woody environment. In the mouth it is full-bodied, denoting a solid structure, slightly acidic and with soft tannins leading to a prolonged and persistent finish revealing all its complexity and balance.
Store and serve advice:
Best served at 18ºC and served in an appropriate glass to enhance its characteristics.
Food Pairing:
Excellent with all types of meat dishes, especially to accompany grilled meats.
