Vinification:
The grapes are grown in a non-mechanized vineyard that is over 100 years old (0.5 ha), a large co-plantation of different grape varieties such as Baga, Jaen, Tinta-Pinheira, Alvarelhão, Alfrocheiro, Bastardo, planted together with fruit trees (olive, fig, peach, plum and others). The soil is granite and sand and the altitude is 350 m. Natural vinification (co-fermentation) took place in an “open press” without aging in oak.
